Welcome!

“God loves you, you are special, you are precious to Him, no exceptions”

We’re so glad you’re thinking of visiting us. At EBC when you walk in the door the first thing you should expect is a friendly, warm, small town welcome.

Going to a new church can be intimidating. All the friendly people you meet here at EBC should make it easier but here’s a little more information that might also help.

1. When and where are services?

Our services are Sunday Mornings at 10:30am. We are located at 326 Bonnechere St. W. in Eganville. You can find a map on this page.

2. What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable and to be more focused on the service than on what you’re wearing. Some people come to EBC wearing a full suit and tie or a sun dress. Some dress more casually. You’ll be warmly welcomed no matter what your style.

3. How long is the Sunday morning service?

We try to keep our Sunday morning service to about an hour starting at 10:30am. People often come a little beforehand and stay a little afterwards to visit and you’re welcome to join in.

4. How many people will be there?

Our morning services can vary in number an average of 50 people is fairly normal. That’s including about 8-10 children in Sunday School. There has been significant growth in our attendance over the past six years. We invite people to come and join a progressive church.

5. Do I have to put money in the offering?

If you are visiting with us you don’t need to feel obligated to put money in the offering, and you are more than welcome to just let it pass you by. Our members generously support EBC and its charity and missions works, if you want to be one of those supporters some time in the future you’re welcome to do so.

6. What about our kids?

We are primarily a church made up of young families with children. Your kids’ safety and security is an important priority for us. Each of our volunteers and staff have a valid vulnerable-sector check on file.
